Great place to walk

Walkways plowed, though some portions can get underwater at times. Great place to see deer. We saw a fox yesterday.

I am a grown woman but everytime I go to the wave pool here, i absolutely love it!. I catch my self giggling and usually leave exhausted. It's a must for all ages..

July 4th blast!!

Went camping on Lake Erie for the Fourth of July fireworks which they have every year on July 3rd. Was lot of fun had vendors, music, miles of bike paths, waterfront camping lots of areas to go boating or kayaking and a sandy beach for the kids! Loved it.

Aloha Visit!

We were invited to a Luau for a Hawaiian gathering. Very friendly attendant at the gate, the pavilion had a wonderful view of the lake, close to restrooms. Had a wonderful afternoon Hawaiian potluck with music and raffles. A great get-together!

This is a great place to visit if you like powerless boating. Electric motors would be okay. There are plenty of good spots to fish. Birdwatching is very popular here during much of the year. There is a Marshland Museum that is very well set up, informative and fun.

The views are spectacular. There is a large playground down by the point near the food concession stand. Around the wave pool and parking lot there is an excess of lawn - lots of grass. You have to walk a little bit to get to the trails.

This is a great place for a family or group picnic. Because the fields near the lot are large they are great for baseball, soccer, frisbee and other sports.

wave pool was beautiful!

My grand kids and I and their cousins all loved it. Clean and beautiful. Had great lifeguards !! We had a picnic outside on the picnic tables that overlooked Lake Erie. Park is well maintained. We saw newborn deer.

Hidden treasure in Wayne County

Beach, Wave Pool, Picnic areas, Nature Center and Walks, Snack Bar and Marina, plus a golf course ... who could ask for more. Your Metro Park Pass is good for other locations also.

The Great wave saved the day

We tried to to swimming at beach on Lake Erie at nearby state park but due to green algae bloom in lake I was reluctant plus it was windy and wavy.

Spontaneously changed plan and went to the Great Wave pool and water was clean , warm, and nice wave pool with good facilities——food, locker room with showers, etc..
