Trace the history of the auto and our fascination with it along with other American inventions through the staggering collection of Henry Fords estate, which includes such memorabilia as the chair Abraham Lincoln sat in when he was assassinated and the limo in which John F. Kennedy was shot.

First, we were able to see the village and the rogue factory tour prior to visiting the museum. With that being stated, we actually enjoyed the museum the least of the three! But, this is not a bad thing, it just means that the other...More

A neighbor had recommended this museum so I brought my family here for a quick vacation trip. As one might expect, the automotive section was excellent, but the rest of the museum was a hodgepodge of different artifacts that did not seem to tell a...More

Incredible trip back in history. The Ford is full of unique artifacts beautifully displayed and organized in such a way that I found that my jaw was continually dropped in awe. I am a High School History Teacher and I was so impressed.

We had visited The Henry Ford a few years ago and for this trip, we decided to take the "behind the scenes" tour. We had an excellent, passionate guide who did a terrific job explaining the history of many of the exhibits. Unfortunately I failed...More

Not surprisingly the automobile section was great! The Museum lacked cohesion, and seemed to be just a collection of historic junk. The American history and civil rights section has to do with social change and should be in its own Museum instead of lost among...More

Our first visit to The Henry Ford after years of recommendations from friends. It lived up to it's reputation, great displays, well presented, with very good documentation. Kids really enjoyed the displays on technology development, the museum gallery, the Heroes of the Sky, and Agriculture!...More

We bought a senior membership for one plus companion, which made sense as then we did not have to choose a specific day and could return on two different days. We enjoyed doing that. We caught a lot of things we missed on the second...More

This was a stop on a recent bus tour. I thought it would be all about cars but that was just the tip of the iceberg. The vast display of cars was impressive with each era also showcasing other items from same era to give...More

Hello! We recommend at least 2-3 hours for Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, and at least 4 hours for Greenfield Village. You can easily spend an entire day at each, however. Hope this helps

Hello - Yes, we have strollers to rent for the Museum, and Wagons for the Village. You can rent them from any cashier, they are $5 for the day, and you will need to leave a picture ID with the cashiers. Hope this helps!
