Bob was a great guide. Answered all the groups questions and provided great insight into the history of Detroit and its buildings. Good distance and pace.

Bob was an amazing host. I had never visited Detroit before, but the downtown core is absolutely stunning. All the buildings are relatively close together. And we were so lucky to have such a warm day to walk around. There are so many secret nooks and crannies. We got to experience all aspects of Detroit. The abandoned buildings were so... More

We went on Rise, Decline, and Renewal tour in Sept. with Bob and loved it. It gave my sister and I a great overview of the city, it's rich history and incredible architecture. Bob is incredibly knowledgeable regarding Detroit and he really makes the tour special. My one recommendation would be to take the tour early on in your visit... More

Me and my family only had one day in Detroit downtown. That's why we decided to take a tour. It was really the best thing we could have done! Bob showed so many places we wouldn't have seen without him. We went into different buildings to see the great interior and he told all facts about renovations, costs and stuff.... More

I loved this tour of downtown Detroit. The guide, Bob, was very well informed about Detroit's p, p, and f. He also gives hope for the future of Detroit. Well worth the money, and the beer at the end of the tour was a bonus!

This is an excellent tour. I highly recommend it. It takes about two hours, but you are not walking all the time so it is not too taxing. There is a bathroom stop about midway through, and a few minutes to rest or check out a gift shop. This is a wonderful way to learn not only about how Detroit... More

This was an interesting, well planned and well researched tour. I grew up in Detroit and NEVER experienced this beautifully presented side of Detroit. Bob was informative as well as funny and just plain old nice!! If you take this tour, I am sure you will find a place that you can visit on your own, if not MORE!! Thank... More

This was a Pub and Grub tour of the area. You can do your own tour using wikipedia, it will be more informative and cost less. If wanting to learn about the historic aspect, the other local tours are WAY better. If wanting to learn more about the Victorian homes, the Corktown Historical Society has a home tour every year.... Took the D you should see tour! Bob was excellent! He was so knowledgable about the history and architecture around the downtown area. He even added some renewal information about the city. Tour was reasonably priced. We even recieved Boklovac or a coney dog! The coney dog was good. The Greek Boklovac looked great! 2 hours was enough information for... More
