Spending my college years in CCS, I wouldn't leave Detroit without paying a visit there. It's across from Detroit Institute of Arts and there are some really interesting buildings there, plus students' artwork to see.

The is an interesting part of Detroit's history. The original design studios of General Motors, now used as a teaching facility. Lots of history here! The lobby display is most interesting. Tours are available, I believe.

I think the school itself might be a bit pricey for students without a lot of money. My daughter attended CCS for a year, waiting to get into SCAD in Savannah. Even with room and board, SCAD was a better value and layout. CCS isn't...More
