Another beautiful and majestic lighthouse in northern Michigan. It was beautiful watching the waves crash against the shore. A peaceful place to sit back and relax.

This is a great lighthouse to visit when you are at the Point. Climb the spiral stairs to the top and enjoy the views. If you go and get a tour, you learn a lot. Wouldn't mind living here and being a tour guide for the summer :-)

I first got to experience this lighthouse back in June of 2010. My friend and I got to climb to the top of the lighthouse and got a brief history of the light, and the lighthouse itself. The view from the top of the lighthouse is beautiful. Very beautiful lighthouse and always enjoy seeing and visiting this lighthouse.

We did a fall lighthouse tour up the coast and this was one of our stops. It's a beautiful lighthouse with great views! I don't think you could make a day out if it though as we were on our way after about a half hour.

Nice park and a nice looking lighthouse. We would have enjoyed going inside but it's closed on Mondays!

Many interesting trails to walk with deer and other wildlife. The lighthouse itself is spectacular. This is a beautiful area in the thumb of Michigan, farm country.

Breath taking and a gem in the Great lakes - we loved it and all the parks and water in the area - they make this a must for the west side of Michigan

First, one has to pay to go into the park to get to the lighthouse. We walked right up to it and took some great pictures. The time 2:50. In order to go into the lighthouse, one has to pay $5 per person and take the tour, which ran every hour on the hour EXCEPT 3:00. Needless to say, we... More

The quality of information shared on museum displays, and verbally by tour guides is top notch! The lighthouse itself is well restored, with care to honoring history details. They have a good collection of artifacts that are well labelled and attractively presented. The gift shop is even great! That said, the tour scheduling is clumsy, and the group was too... More

This park and lighthouse are a do not miss. The lighthouse is well cared for, tours available for super cheap. The grounds around the lighthouse are great for exploring. The beach is close and the campground is great. This is a fun place to visit, lots of history and a bunch of trails for walking and exploring. The park also... More
