If the snow is worked over they will close a section of the hill and re-groom. I have found the lift lines to be almost nonexistent. The staff is extremely friendly and very appreciative that you chose Nubs as a place to ski. The ski patrol are the best I have ever seen and are there to help even with... More

Great place to have the regional meet. I liked how they had the room set up for the kids. It was easy access and they made sure everyone was comfortable and knew where to go. Good place to watch the races too. The food was tasty - lots of choices and prices were reasonable for ski hill. When I looked... More

We make an annual trip north each year to ski at Nubs. Best groomed snow in the Midwest. Great hills, great lodge. They are consistently voted the best grooming in the Midwest. during the week there are no lift lines to speak of. Lift operators make it a point to be friendly and courteous. A great place to spend a... More

Our family has come to this resort for the past 3 years on a Sunday in February for the annual Nordica Rally and we have a blast! FYI, we stay at either the Best Western very close to Nubs or the Super 8 in Petoskey (20 min drive to Nubs) the night before the race but there are many other... More

Took our teenaged daughter to Nubs Nob for race training last weekend. The race facilities and the coaching was outstanding. While she was racing my wife and I skied. We had a great time. Despite the warm weather, the skiing was great. Very well groomed and short lift lines.

She may not be the largest ski area in Michigan, but the snow is always great and the staff is super friendly. I've never had a bad experience here, other than the rising ticket prices (it's happening everywhere) From the glades to the terrain park, Nubs is always a good ride.

Decided to go skiing for 2 days over MLK weekend and had a great experience at Nub's Nob. The slopes were well maintained and there is a lot of staff on hand to make parking, equipment rental, ticket sales a quick and smooth experience. The lifts operators were very friendly and there was extra staff on hand to help direct... More

Had a fantastic time today out at Nubs! The runs were well groomed even with the fresh powder falling. Every staff member from the ticket office to the lift operators were a joy to visit with and went out of their way to help. The facility was well maintained also. Definitely a phenomenal experience!
