Was one kind of experience!!! Riding alond the Dunes and in the end of day just enjoy the sunset over Lake Michigan??? What can we have more?

I had been here as a child, and wanted to show my daughter what I loved about it. We made the trip from Tennessee and it wasn’t as easy to climb the dunes as I remember, age might have something to do with that. Lol....More

Had a blast at the dunes! Loved that it wasn’t busy. And it was fun seeing what people had to drive in the sand. Hope to come back next fall!

A gift of nature! Ever changing and amazingly clean. Fun just to watch the dune buggies do crazy crazy maneuvers. To walk to the ridge closest to Lake Michigan and watch the sun set...makes the entire world seem beautiful!

That is an excellent question! If it is too windy, the sand can actually hurt. A little breeze is comfortable but wind is not. i cannot tell you exact miles per hour but I would think anything over 5-7 miles per would be... More
