They had a very large beach area. Parking was good. Concessions had ice cream and food. Even though it was a 94 degree day and it was busy there was still plenty of spots on the beach. I would likely go again. Next time I...More

White sand that talks to your feet as you walk. A pier so that you can stroll out into beautiful Lake Michigan (or fish from). A wide beach that invites kids to cavort and staid adults to bask in sunshine. Really, what more could you...More

Great beach fun for family. Get there early as the park can get full quickly. Take a walk on the pier... Watch boats going through the channel to Lake Michigan. Grills available, Volleyball nets for family fun.

We stopped in to walk the pier to the lighthouse and ended up having a picnic and walking the beach. Although very busy, it is an excellent beach and we will definitely be back.

Recently my wife and myself visited the Holland State Park for the first time. We frequent the Grand Haven beaches and I appreciated the amount of parking that was available. Now, we didn’t visit on a busy day, but it was nice to be able...More

This beach is one of the best Lake Michigan beach I've been to. It was very clean, friendly, and handicap accessible. I liked the benches out front of concession building.

If the weather is good they usually max out capacity so you will need to park down the road. The later you arrive, the further you end up. Best to arrive before 10:00 am to get in.
