Lake Michigan's eastern shoreline is lined with miles of white sugar sand beaches. Tunnel Park is a county park which gives the visitor access to the lake by passing thru a cement tunnel and down a flight of wooden stairs. Kids love to hear the echo of their voices as they pass thru the tunnel. For adults, the view out... More

I've been enjoying tunnel park for many years. It's an Ottawa County park requiring a sticker or payment to enter during the summer.

The gate is open and there is no attendant in the winter. It won't be plowed if there is snow. Drive on in and climb the dune or head through the tunnel for beach access and beautiful views of Lake Michigan. If the gate is locked for some reason park on Perry Street across Lakeshore and walk in. If the... More

A beautiful place on Lake Michigan. Great view from on top of the dune or easy access through the tunnel. Walk into the park year round for free. Parking is charged during peak times Memorial day to Labor day

This Lake Michigan Lakeshore park has an excellent beach, playground and picnic area. If you drive in to park you have to pay, however there is parking across the street that is free.

Tunnel park is one of the many beaches around west Michigan lakeshore. It is nice baca use it has a playground, dune and out door showers to rinse off in. It also has a dune over looking Lake Michigan and a woods trail.

For families you can't get much better than this park, beach, playground, BBQ locations... it has it all. You have to pay to park (or park across the street, its a bit of a walk but its free)

I used to go to Tunnel Park when I was kid with my family all the time. I love walking through the tunnel to get to the beach. There is a pretty challenging dune that you can climb... they have stairs now. There is a picnic area near the parking lots and some swings and playground. Lake Michigan is wonderful... More

We did not use the beach at this park (we went simply for the view), so I cannot comment on the beach. To get the best views, you need to either take the steps, or climb the sand dune. The sand dune looked pretty hard to climb, so I took the steps. The view at the top is simply amazing.... More

Best park in Holland to spend time, planning a grill, volleyball or hanging out with kids. Have been there more than 30 times in the last 2 years.
