First time skiing, the staff was wonderful - very helpful! Loved Lisa at rentals and Trish at the bar. Hot drink of the day was delicious as well :) Only disappointment was that no easy runs were open (and it was our first time skiing).

Drove 5 hours to check out their Acrobag and high review ratings for the resort. Agree completely with other reviews that indicate a great time. I'm a novice skier yet my two boys are very good and hit their terrain park. 14-year old took to their Acrobag for the full 2 hours and got confidence to attempt flips. He then... More

We took our kids skiing for the first time Friday was kids learn to ski free then they got a free lift ticket for rest of time. when we arrived we got our skis. There was a lot of confusion about where the kids had to go for the ski to learn program the same guy told us three different... More

For the last ten years we've been driving 6 hours North to spend a week at SkiBrule. Our four children have learned to ski on their slopes. This year during our visit, my two teenagers and I decided to spend a day at another ski resort on the U.P. This resort was about 90 miles away from SkiBrule and about... More

I came to Ski Brue the weekend of February 6th, 2016. I had done a few months of research, wanting to surprise my boyfriend with a fun romantic snowboarding getaway. We live in Wisconsin so I decided a trip to the UP would be fun. I had preferred to go to one of the bigger mountains but decided to stay... More

Cassie, It's Jess at Ski Brule... you spoke with me at check in. Yes I too was disappointed about your stay. It was horrible to find a property with water running out of the building and a foot of water on the floor from a pipe that had burst and damaged the property. Not a fix that could have been... We had a wonderful time. Staff was super friendly in all areas we frequented. Not all runs were open due to a lack of snow but they are faring better than other hills in our area. Looking forward to returning for another weekend soon.

Great place to take the family. Friendly staff working the chair lifts, rental center as well as in the lodge. We have been here on multiple occasions when it's been busy as well as when it isn't so busy. Our latest visit was on New Years day and it was not busy. There were still about 4 runs not opened... We skied at Brule 12/31-1/1/16. This was my second time here. The mountain was not overly crowded. Lift lines had little to no wait. The lodge was a little crowded, but the "small town" atmosphere is something I haven't experienced at other resorts. The employees here, from bartenders to lift operators, are extremely friendly and helpful. They are very focused... More

The skiing was fun, but there is no night skiing. We reserved dinner for the New Years Eve buffet at the earliest time, but the hills closed two hours before dinner began. They did offer sledding, but then charged $4 per person for it! And they didn't even have enough sleds, or a tow rope. My two kids only made... More

Ski Brule is always a family favorite, they are doing the best they can but should run better pricing right at the hill too.
