Drug deals in public across the sheet from a school? Really? The palace is safe but high school kids might ask you to buy drugs.

As a child, every so often, my Mom would pack dinner in a picnic basket and meet my Dad at Milham Park for dinner. I remember a playground, stream, and big trees. It's all still there! The oak grove is magnificent. The stream is clear...More

Why that title? Ah, the geese, gaggles and gaggles of them! The park is a lovely place; it even has a small island accessible by a small bridge, but watch out for the poop, which is everywhere. Sure you can bring the kids to feed...More

This park is a favorite gathering place for a lot of families and individuals and couples also. There is a play area for the kids, picnic tables and even some charcoal grills. Explore the property, the creek and the wildlife.

A beautiful location with huge oaks and a meandering creek and wildlife in abundance has slid into disrepair. City funding has become less and less, which translates into almost nonexistent care.

Milham Park is a Kalamazoo treasure. Most families in the city and nearby suburbs have stories to tell of outings there. Open spaces, lots of trees, a nice creek in the middle of the park. Great for a picnic or a stroll.
