We enjoyed walking in this beautiful park, with its breathtaking views of Lake Superior. It is approximately a 2 mile walk through gently rolling woods. The weather was perfect, an unusual balmy 56 sunny degrees in February with enough sufficient snow on the ground for families with young children to be out snowshoeing, as well as joggers running the path.... This is a natural gem on the south coast of Lake Superior. Fantastic sunsets, wonderful trails, fresh water surfing albeit limited, watch the massive boats enter, load iron ore and leave port, city band shell for concerts, grills and picnic areas. Good individual or family outing. Reportedly called a great natural park by Frederick Law Olmsted of Central Park game.

Presque isle is absolutely beautiful! Year round but summer is the best time to visit! Unless you like to snow shoe or cross country ski then you could go around the island in the winter. However, it is very cold on the island in the winter!

Presque Island was the best place to ring in the New Year. We snowshoes from the break wall past the pavilion along the east trail to the scenic overlook. Just us, the lake and the gorgeous sky. What a wonderful beginning to 2017!

Great city park in Marquette. There is a main road that can be walked or driven and several other trails, both on the lake and in the wooded section. The park is a great favorite of locals and tourists.

Beautiful views, and a great walk or cross country skiing location in winter. Beautiful views. Nice ice cream store during the summer.

Great views of the lake and the city from different areas on the island. Is a place that you can drive or walk around.
