I myself have had the luxury of living in the community for a few years and experiencing the magnificent structure called "The Tridge". It's a human bridge that branches off into three sections, giving the ability to every walker to witness and capture the beautiful scenery of Midland's community from the exact center of this structure. One end of the... More

The Tridge is at the convergence of the Tittabawassee and Chippewa rivers. There are foot trails going out from the three arms. There is a canoe livery on the East side and trails extending in both directions and meeting up with the railtrail that goes beyond Clare,MI. The second arm leads into Chippewassee park which provides a dog park, children's playground,... More

I live in Midland. Just a five minute walk from the Tridge so I know the place well. It's cool if your into bridges. It is different looking and relaxing to sit and watch the water and people going by. There is usually something going on during the summer from bands to kayaking. Fishing is alright if you don't mind... More

The Tridge is beautiful as it reflects on the water and you see the reflection on a sunny day. The flowers are pretty down here and there is a wooded path if you take a left at the middle of the Tridge. Go straight and there is a green park area with a kids's playground and a skate park. The... More

This trip to Micland I thought I'd again walk the Tridge, if I could find it. Indeed, this time it was the other side of the hotel parking lot. It is a curious 3-way bridge. This time there appears to be sidewalks that continues the direction of each bridge section. Lots of couples walking and dogs being walked. Next time... More

The tridge is and interesting 3 sided bridge. However, the water it spans is a slow moving river so the water looks a bit murky. One of the bridges leads to a nice park area with a playset for kids and lots of space to wander about; but this too is near a freeway, so is a bit noisy and... More
