This park was quiet, clean and the covered bridge was a great background for taking photos. Small ponds are around. When i went the crowd was minimal. This would also serve well for a family reunion with pavilions close by the ponds.

Walked here or biked here almost everyday of our 3 week stay. Walked the dog here, I felt extremely safe and they people I encountered on the trail were very friendly. The trails were well marked and so clean. Loved it.

Good for getting outdoors for a bit. Well maintained park with clear paths. Nothing in Mt. Pleasant is very far away.

Beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed walking the trails and having a picnic. The suspension bridge was fun. Although it was 90 degrees that day the trails were mostly shaded and it wasn't too hot. We had a great time and would like to come back...More

I love the River Loop, which isn't exactly a loop around the river, but has excellent views and hills. It is a bit challenging, but at only 3.2 miles, not bad. You can opt out of the Gawshawk Hill loop if that hill is too...More
