I had the best time doing the poon hill trek these last few days. My guide Ghana Shyamalan did a great job showing us the various attractions and teaching us about the history of Nepal and the trekking routes! Definitely will be returning with my family for sure!

We did 6 days trek starting from Nayapul (first week of January). Heavy snow after upper sinuwa. Low visibility even around 2pm near MBC, so had to stop and attempt ABC next day morning. We appreciated we brought climbing iron. Better to accompany a guide/porter who can advise you on weather situation, especially in winter.

We have just finished the trek in 6 days starting from Khande up to ABC and then back to Siwai. It was sometimes extremely tiring - as we have carried all our belongings ourselves without porters or a guide (yes, you can do that) - but definitely worth it, a trek to remember for! Expect large groups of Chinese tourists,... More

Though the trek was tough one, with having pocket full of money nepal is not a problem for hikers/ trekkers. We started from Jagat a small village where our jeep's tyre punctured last night. We just took one porter with us and all rucksacks one our back. The trek was awesome and we were amazed at manang up to which... More

At age 69, to trek pass Thorung La Pass (5416 m) of the Annapurna Circuit, Nepal, without taking high altitude medications, is a hefty and extreme endeavour to my physical competence and will power. In October 2016, with the superb guiding service from Snowy Horizon Treks and Expeditions in Nepal, I accomplished this challenge according to schedule without incidents and... More
