Child friendly, they get to see lots of animals (more dead than alive), gallery of the dead ones and playground / prison cells of live ones, surely kids will enjoy, but for adults..maybe so so. Pros: free entrance and picture taking except for the tiger...More

though there was no entrance fee, you can opt to take the shuttle to reach the top of the zoo. while riding the shuttle, there is no guide to talk about the animals you see -- zebra, ostrich, deers. like where they came from, how...More

If travelling with young children, they would surely enjoy the scenery, make sure to come early for it gets too hot around noon & animals at the zoo are resting. Allot 2-3 hours to explore. Make sure to buy local vinegar (sugar-cane) at the shop...More

My kids loved the animals here. We had pictures everywhere. The ponies are cute, huge birds are tamed and colorful, the tiger is somewhat drunk (i guess), the snake is friendly,, etc. Visit the museum of Chavit and you'll have a fresher atmosphere (aircon) and...More
