Very quiet and nice beach with fancy hotel in front. We went there with our local friends though and just had a beer. Staff was very professional and friendly.

Trinco beach is the best beach in Trincomalee - it's in the main town & free - the sand is fine & white & the water is crystal blue. In contrast, Marble Beach is half an hour drive away from the main town, controlled by the army so you must pay an entrance fee & is highly overrated! We were... More

It is very good for children and it has a breathtaking view, it can be bit crowded some times because it is a public beach. SL Army is maintaining a cafeteria and public toilet for all the tourists.

This is one of the best beaches ever seen in Sri Lanka. This was handled by SL Air Force & they are doing a fabulous job. We stayed 2 nights & superb location with great food.

This has got to be one of the cleanest and awesome beaches in Sri Lanka. Colours of the water is incredible and the beach is shallow so safe for kids. Its a definite must but be prepared for lot of crowd at the beach. Toilets at the beach are not clean. Water is prestine

Nothing special at the marble beach. Just another overcrowded beach with a lot of military protection

It was a rainy day, and we had to visit this place because of it's fame. The beach was clean and water was calm. The sand was very soft, it will be a great outdoor activity on a nice sunny day.

This is a very beautiful and very secured beach. This beach is managed by Sri Lanka Navy. Ample parking. Visited this location on a weekday, it was less crowded then.

Stayed at Trimco Blu hotel and walked the beach each morning It's good for walking or running and is mainly quite clean until you get away from hotel developments whereupon the beach needs cleaned of the usual litter washed up onto the shore Great to see fishermen working and preparing their nets
