At the advice of a friend, we trailered our own boat to Munising and traveled the Pictured Rock National Lakeshore for several hours. The views were spectacular! We found a nice sandy area near a waterfall and anchored for a picnic lunch.

We kayaked the Pictured Rocks and it was worth every penny. Cool waterfalls and amazing rock formations make up the lakeshore.

My family of 4 spent 4 days in Pictured Rocks hiking and seeing the waterfalls of the area. It is a beautiful area and has great trails.

Finally went here after being around area several times. Absolutely breathtaking, spectacular, beautiful. Everyone, especially living in Michigan should go here and take the cruise. Will definitely do again.

The kayaking company we used was Pictured Rocks Kayaking. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and would highly recommend it.

Just hiked 6/17 around 6 miles of the Lakeshore North Country Trail and in parts (as we approached the Mosquito Falls Loop from the West) the black flies were TERRIBLE!
