Nice park ran by the NPS/NFS. A few viewing platforms with varying degree of difficulty to reach. Quite a nice stop if venturing around by vehicle.

Pretty much a must see if you are lingering at all in the area. It could also be part of a bigger trip to beach or hiking.

Used to be two Castle Rock formations strutting out to overlook Lake Superior, have many past pictures of this. The lone Castle Rock formation still strikes you as just breathtaking.

We were going to kayak but the weather did not permit it. We took a boat to look at the Pictured Rocks and it was amazing.

Pictured Rocks, the islands are awesome but very remote. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is drivable, short hikes beautiful and well worth the trip!

Uncle Duckies is the way to go with a guide - my step son Jared has worked there for the last 2 summers and is a wonderful guide! The guides share information about the formations and history that make it worth the money!
