This is a beautiful and historic church and it is worth walking aaround in. But it is also worth walking up the narrow staircase to get up on the roof. The panoramic views of Leon and the surrounding volcanoes are not to be missed!

An amazing excursion around the roof of the cathedral, in socks or bare feet only. They won't let you take photos in the church, though .
The interior of this beautiful big cathedral is worth a visit in itself but the main attraction is upstairs on the roof. We had an awesome time taking photos of the weird roof patterns and just looking out over Leon. Definitely recommend it! If you...More
For 90 cordoba per person you get access to the roof top of this amazing church. Enjoy great views of the surroundings and walk around the roof (when do you get to do that!?) The “ticket office” is at the back of the church and...More

This Cathedral with it‘s roof was a very special experience! We felt like children because of the nice optics/views and walking barefoot up there (for sure behaved according the rules). Also the stunning scenery with the volcanos which seem to be far away but well...More
