A very interesting tour with a lot on the history of courvoisier. I did feel like it was more of a museum than a distillery. Would have been nice to have learned more about how it's made. But all in all a good tour.

We came to cognac and had 10 different tours. this was the best. We booked the Historic Blends tour and had an amazing day. Our guide Sylvie was charming and we wish we could spend more time with her. She was knowledgeable yet sympa and an absolute darling. The tour in itself is comprehensive and covers all porduction methods and... More

A modern building on the banks of a river & close to shops & restaurants. Regular organised tours - some in English. There is a small fee (actually a variety of fees dependant on what you want in the post tour tasting sessions) but its well worth it. A good tour, informative, & well worth a visit. This is outside... More

Very good visit, with no robust sales chat. although there is of course a shop with quality souvenirs (including full bottles). A quick run through the history to start which explains why Napoleon's hat sits in a glass case and why Courvoisier is associated with Napoleon. The process of their cognac production is shown and followed by a well informed... More

Really good tour and the little train gets you around the site and into the maximum security cellar that keeps the really old and expensive stuff!! Capped off with a sampling which was paired with some little amuse bouches prepared by their on site chef. One of the better tours from the Coganc houses.

There are many Cognac tours available in Cognac but this one is in Jarnac and from one of the best known Cognac houses in the world. It is well organised and thought out, with added interest from the Napoléon connection. I had one problem, they showed a 3D video and my brain can't cope with 3D, so it gave me... More

Courvoisier is located in the little village of Jarnac on the beautiful River Charente. The ancient chateau is gorgeous and the tasting and sales room a treat. Just do it!

The place itself was good! Nice to look around and see how everything is made and run. The young tour guide for us was very nice and informative and did the tour very well! He price is in my opinion far to expensive with lunch being a light pick at snack tray... Which wasn't the greatest of combos... Nice but... More

This chateau displays the manufacture of Napoleon's favourite. brew. It was also the cognac served at the opening of the Eiffel Tower. We took the English language tour The guide knew her stuff and spoke good English. It was a worthwhile visit.

Courvoisier is my favourite drink. So impressed to see it when we drove into the town. So had to do the tour. Very expensive for what it was, picture after picture. The tour guides English was good if only she slowed it down. The words raced into each other and it made the whole experience difficult to enjoy.
