We just stopped at this beach to watch the sunset and it was beautiful. It has a nice beach with swimming and changing rooms with restrooms and picnic tables.

Nice location, wide beach with decent sand & kayak rentals. Water was so murky and dirty, we would not go in! So disappointed.

Loved the beach. The sand was unlike anywhere we had been. Slightly gritty. Water was clean, beach was clean. Found a few Petoskey stones :)

I am not quite sure I follow your question. There are huge dunes you can climb, the camping is near the dunes but not on them. Hope that helps.
