Welcome Aboard! Klave's Marina knows boating. We have been servicing the beautiful Portage Lake Chain of Lakes for more than 60 years. We specialize in Pontoon Boat sales/rentals, Kayak rentals and SUP/Paddle Board rentals. Avalon Pontoons are our brand of choice because of the superior integrity of the company, the quality of their manufacturing, their excellent warranty processing, and attention to detail. Made here in Michigan!

Awesome service, knowledgeable staff, clean boats time well spent with family!!!! The staff were well versed in covering all the rules of safe boating and warned us about potential trouble spots like sandbars.

This was our first time renting a boat and traveling the chain of lakes and we loved it! The 5 of us (2 adults, 3 teens) had plenty of room on the 22' boat which looked brand new. Traveling through the lakes we saw turtles, muskrats and even saw a hawk snatch a fish out of the water. Lunch at Zukey Lake Tavern was easy to pick up and enjoy on the boat. We stopped at several sandbars to swim. Klave's did a great job explaining the boat and the map. We'll be back!

We were to 60+ year olds, 4 30+ year olds and a 1 year old. We had a blast! We rented a tube as well and all the 30 year olds loved it---alone and 2 by 2. The 1 year old was able to walk around when we anchored.
My husband drove the boat with little experience and did a great job! We stayed in the main lake and tubed and floated and swam off the boat.
Staff at Klave's were wonderful--from the check in, to parking to training and support. Planning to do it again next year.

Our boat rental experience with Klave was a very postive one. The team did a great job explaining the layout of the lakes and where we may encounter sandbars; very helpful.
The weather was not great for our day, but they worked with us to make sure we had the most time on the water as possible, they also offered a partial-refund. We declined the refund to allow the storm to pass and were rewarded with a nice afternoon.
The pontoon boat was in great shape and my kids had a blast while tubing.

We rented an 18' pontoon boat and toured the chain of Lakes. The boat was brand new, the staff was very helpful and pleasant.

We came to Michigan to visit our daughter and her husband for Memorial weekend and wanted to visit a lake for a day. Portage lake was only 40 minutes away so we booked a pontoon with Klaves Marinia. Great experience. Boat was very nice and clean. Staff was professional and very gave a very good orientation for the boat and the lake. We will definitely use Klaves again and will recommend them to friends.

I try and buy my gas and all my boat service from these folks. They are always friendly. You may pay a few pennies more but it is worth it for a local marina. They also put on one heck of a fireworks display for the forth. For that reason alone I continue to spend my recreational dollars here.

We had just about the highlight of our vacation with Klave's. We hired a wonderful 26 foot quad and set off. None of us had any experience on water and were shown everything we needed to get along. We shown also shown maps, we hired a tube too. The whole day was a great experience.

Loved the Avalon Eagle Quad Lounger 18' pontoon. Just the right size for four adults and one three year old. Could have easily held a couple more. The banged up prop did give us a bit of a jerky ride and made me anxious about the motor quitting but I got over it.
