Learn how some of the early settlers were influential in early Michigan. The house is a must visit at Christmas. The barn is also quite interesting with its artifacts from early Michigan farming.

This museum has some interesting historical buildings and a small museum. What makes it stand out are the various programs they have all year round, which my kids really enjoy. They have a variety of summer programs and the kids really enjoyed the Christmas activities.

Attended a wedding reception in the barn building. It says it seats up to 150 which was the wedding limit. It was very tight with tables and dancing area. Only 1 bathroom for all guests to use. It was quaint and overall wedding was spectacular.
