On the lakeshore, but in the middle of St. Ignace, this place was a great find. Sites were a nice size. Some lakefront sites, but all were close to the lake with access to it. Nice viewing platforms within the park. Loved the one where...More

Spent five days at Straits State Park. Very clean, new bathrooms, great views of the bridge. Definitely walk the trails. Staff was helpful with any questions. St. Ignace only minutes from your site. Not a fan of the bathrooms with the timers on the shower...More

We loved the generous campsite spaces at this well-maintained state park. Campground showers and bathrooms were modern and clean. On a busy Memorial weekend, a few sites remained open and our campground neighbors were quiet and pleasant. We wish campgrounds would not allow dogs because...More

I often stop and eat my lunch in this park when on trips from the Upper Peninsula downstate. Well-maintained, wonderful views, fresh air!

This is a bit off the beaten path but worth the hunt to find it. The Mackinaw Bridge is in full view day or night. Ship watching can be perfect here also.

My husband and I had a wonderful time there camping. The park was clean and well kept up. Everything was close by but did not feel like you were on top of your neighbors.

This was our first trip north of Big Mac. The views were amazing with a small child still in a stroller we could only do one of the two options of views offered. Still well worth it!
