The coaster is a lot of fun for young and old. I have even had my 3 year old grand son on the coaster with me and he loved it. All the grand kids love it except the 2 yr old grand daughter said " to fast grandpa". Now that she is older she goes on her own and enjoys... More

So fun ! Be sure to pay for the endless number of slides for the day. You will for sure want to ride more than once and get more out of your money. We drove up from the traverse city area while on vacation and we were so glad we made this a part of our trip. I was scared... More

Kids working the slide are professional and personable, especially since it is the end of summer!!! Fun for the whole family!!! We loved it!

The chairlift brings you up to the top (also lifts downhill mountain bikers). At the top, the staff person gives you full instructions and warnings about what not to do in order to be safe. Despite the instructions, my husband did loose his hat on the way down & reached to grab it as it was flying off. This awkward... More

My 14 yr old daughter and I did this. It was a fun adventure. We pd for a 1 time ride. Felt it was pricey for 1 ride but still fun none the less.

Such a unique attraction and so much fun! My husband and six-year-old and I all loved it. And since it's basically a slide down an entire ski slope, you can pick up some pretty good speed--it's a great ride! But after the first trip down, we got cocky and decided to go faster (you can control your speed on the... More

This slide is much too dangerous for young children, though Joe, the head of risk and safety at Crystal mountain is not concerned when I spoke with him. My 5 year old received 2nd degree burns and a trip to the ER due to this slide and Crystal mountain offered zero exceptable first aid and zero return compensation since our... More

An interesting piece of entertainment that can be both scary and thrilling. My sister was extremely hesitant about riding the Crystal Coaster but she tried. Her first ride took perhaps 5 minutes, but after that, speed was her demon. Ride is interesting and exciting and should be experienced by all visitors to Crystal.

On our third trip to the slide, having wonderful times the first 2 occasions, the third trip was not good.. My 5 yr old son and I somehow flipped the sled coming down.. he has 5 friction burns on his face, and one on his elbow. I was several burns on the elbow, knee, and opposite wrist (trying to protect... More

With Gr-kids aged 8 to 16 (plus adults ) this was fun for everyone. Not only the slide but they had a rock wall to climb & a zip line. All the kids had fun, even us adults on the alpine slide !
