The restaurants were expensive, as were many of the shops. There were better shops with lower prices in town.

We enjoyed the numerous shops here during a festival on the grounds. Beautiful gift items. Art, jewelry, furs, apparel are all quality items. Also a market of local specialty foods.

Must see unique shops on ground floor and learn the history of the former mental hospital. Also, the surrounding grounds have bakery, restaurants, and wine tastings.

They have a small farmers market on Monday afternoon. Nothing over whelming. Fresh fruit, veggies, soaps and baked goods. Get there early, items sell out fast and parking is very limited.

We were on the 2-4 tour this past Sunday and he was the guide. He didn't mention whether he had done the morning tour or how often he works.
