My number one recommendation to anyone who visits Traverse City is always "Bring your bike!" and take advantage of at least 1 of the many TART Trails while vacationing; visitors can even park their car & use the trails for transportation like many locals do....More

17 mile paved trail from Traverse City to Suttons Bay. Flat terrain, great scenery. Benches and rest areas along the way. A few wineries just a short detour off the trail. Dog walkers near town, but not too much out on the trial.
