Lovely spot for a picnic or just sit and soak in the sunshine. Great place for kids to run and splash with nice sandy beach. Could spend all afternoon here.

I really like going Haserot Beach with friends or family. The drive (about 15 minutes from Traverse City) is beautiful. It is an easy drive and as you approach the beach there is not a lot of parking so plan on arriving early. This beach...More

This beach is over crowded. They offer a single outhouse for hundreds of people, often there is no toilet paper and no way to wash your hands. There is no shelter or place to change other than the outhouse, and the day I was in...More

A 15 minute drive north of Traverse city on 37. A very clear, sandy beach with plenty of parking. Not busy on a Friday afternoon. The restroom was OK but smelled HORRIBLE. No Fee. Would go back next time we are in the area.

The drive alone was very scenic to get to the beach. The beach itself was very nice. I liked the size of it. The water was so clear and pretty. I would definitely go back.

What a pretty little area! The water was lovely and beach didn't feel crowded or loud. Scenery was great too. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Fantastic beach, not huge but not well-known and generally big enough to keep from feeling crowded. Decent playground equipment (swings, etc) for the young and young at heart. Good bay enclosure limits waves. Sandy bottom as far out at you can walk into East Grand...More
