Great camp sites, a fun trail, lovely views of the Split Rocks and waterfalls! The trail is a bit steep in places and was rather wet and muddy when we visited. Definitely check the trail and weather conditions before starting your adventure!

We had a wonderful time hiking this trail. There were so many great opportunities to take photos. You must take time to visit this trail when you in or near Beaver Bay.

The Split Rock Loop Trail is easily accessible and well marked. The water falls are beautiful and well worth the hike in to see them. We hiked in the early spring and parts of the trail were quite wet. As always—bring water and be prepared...More

There are so many beautiful views on this hike! It is a little more difficult to travel over, but we find it is worth it.

While this is a nice hike, it is not a loop. Yes, there are signs stating the bridge is out, but I thought there was a detour or as the sign states *** does not affect the Split Rock River Loop in any way. Actually,...More

We forgot how much we loved it. The trail itself is over worn. There is maintenance needed to narrow eroded and muddy areas. River falls and rapids gorgeous.

Long story short, the trail is very scenic but there were so many hoards of biting flies, that all I wanted to do was get in my car and leave.

Went to the falls. Trail is accessible right from the lodge if you want to do the entire loop. I drove to the last point so I could walk .7 miles instead of 10.0. Trails are somewhat difficult.
