The Arboretum has many great classes. The exercise path with the different exercises is a great place for a variety in a workout program.
I went there in Sept '17. There are lots of trails to choose from, and most connect to other trails so you have lots of options. Longest loop around the park is probably...mmmm....1.5 - 2 miles. Trails are well maintained. They have a few gardens...More
I was so excited to see what this arboretum had to offer only to be let down. There is a large garden just adjacent to the parking lot and that's the highlight. It was not a preview of what was to come. The maps were...More
You park across from a shopping mall and an apartment complex, walk a few blocks and you are in the wilderness. Great place to hike in the autumn for fall colors, we often see deer and squirrels. They also have great groomed cross country skiing...More

Visit the many acres of well tended flower beds and walk the shady lanes. Or ski the trails in the winter. I have enjoyed gatherings at the office-education building.
We are proud of Northland Arboretum and what it has given to this Brainerd area. It is well run, well maintained and a business we are proud of. We used it years ago (in its infancy) for cross/country skiing.
