I enjoyed the ride on the train yesterday. It was well done, nice equipment, interesting commentary, nice views, very historic. I would recommend that they allow boarding much earlier rather then everyone standing in a long line for no apparent reason.

What a nice ride on this historic train. The volunteers were wonderful and the narrative was very interesting. This was well worth the fee and a wonderful part of the day. A big thankyou to the volunteers that devote their time!

We went on the 90 minute ride up the North Shore a ways and back. It was fun to see what it was like to ride on a train. We were able to see some of the city that we would have not seen otherwise.

The train itself was a great site to see, maintained by people for the love of the old train rail. Was a relaxing trip, not much to see. We were able to move about the cars, had a little concessions in the back of the middle car. The kids ( 10 / 13 ) enjoyed it but became bored towards... More

This was a fun, 2 hour ride. The feel of stepping back into time on the old train was really cool and the all volunteer staff knew their history and shared many interesting stories. Our fall day was warm enough to be on the open air train part of the time which was lovely. I was a bit disappointed at... More

I took a ride on this train with my elderly mother, thinking she would love it and boy did she! I live in the area and should have gone on this much earlier. It was beautiful, warm, interesting, and soothing. The staff volunteers do a great great job and deserve our support. We saw eagles, deer, ducks, birds, and a... More

Fun informative trip. Train and track very old. The conductor gives a good oral history lesson, not much to see but the scenery is beautiful.

There are 2 train rides in Duluth. The other heading North is great but this is even better especially if you want to see wildlife and follow right along the St Louis River! It departs right across the street from the Lake Superior Zoo so take a day to do both!

Went on the train on July 26th. What a great trip. All volunteers operate this train. About one hour and 40 minutes. A great way to learn some history of the Duluth area.
