The only aquarium in the U.S. that focuses on freshwater exhibits, this three-story waterfront structure is ready for public viewing after a year and a half and almost $34 million. Plenty of interactive exhibits and re-created habitats are fun and educational for children.

I had a blast here! They have lots of interactive activities here, including several animal encounters where you can touch some of the marine life. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Good for kids, nice learning experiences, value compared to others I have visited is low. If you have been to larger aquaria, skip this one.

My gf and I came to the aquarium looking to see some amazing things (we love nature) and we’re not let down. Seeing fish we see fishing in Wisconsin was neat because it allowed us to see their naturalness. We saw many animals we have...More

Lots of things for kids to do, fairly interactive. Good variety fishes.🤣 Plan to spend a couple of hours there, especially with kids younger kids. Even our 21 month old granddaughter had a great time exploring the aquarium.

My daughter actually interned here so I visited a few times. Like any aquarium it is a fun and educational place to learn about the water systems around the lake and harbor and the fish that occupy them.

My wife and I stopped in here while visiting Duluth. There is plenty of parking in the lot out front. It was free when we were there (April) but it looks like normally you would pay. With the old geezer and AAA credit card discount...More

Prices are a bit over the top for only two people, 35$ for two adults. On the other hand you learn about new aquatic animals, Mother Earth, information about Lake Superior, and much more.

Great Experience. Kids still love going here even as they are getting older. Enjoyed being able to touch the lake sturgeon and love all the hands on options.

Check it out. A great aquarium and interactive actives for children and adults. Extremely well maintained exhibits of our local waters. See if you can find the suspended fish. It represents the real fish density in the lake. You will get your monies worth if...More
