Watch seagulls soaring while you stroll around this popular spot, part of the revived Duluth waterfront. Nearby are a sculpture garden, jazz clubs, coffee shops, motels and restaurants. If you like ships, stand on the pier and watch huge boats and ships, some from around the world, come and go daily.

Bring your kids. It is nice to walk around. Great for a date night too. Lots to look at. I love the water fountains and horse carriage rides. The big ships come in and the lake walk is very peaceful.

The canal park boardwalk was a little beat up after a rough winter. I must say though, it looked far better than I thought it would.

Parking should be free. They do not need my quarters and dimes. Need more friendly space. The restaurants have free parking. Go there.

We had a lovely walk along the water to the light house. It is a simple part with a lot of things to see. My children enjoyed climbing on the anchors and watching the lift bridge rise.

Pretty chilly the morning we walked around. There was a bus tour group out at the lighthouse so we left them alone. I could see where this would be more fun after the weather warms up (if you don't mind a bunch of people). Great...More

I don't believe that Tall Ships Duluth is an event held every year, it seems that it is every 2-3 years on the Great Lakes. Duluth was 2013, and 2016.
