Wife remembered (with fear!) worrying that the gates would lock her in while going up in the tower as a child. Heavy metal gates still functional and I could imagine the thoughts in a young mind! Hiked up through the snow from the locked gates at the road: rewarded with great views (and COLD wind!) and not a soul in... More

Good spot if you like hiking... Great views and trails ...There's a clearing/gazebo area that over looks all of Duluth. Nice picnic area as well.

A nice surprise in Duluth. Tower is fun to climb and view out each level. Park is nicely kept with Japanese garden, bell and sitting areas. Walkway to gazebo overlooking the city and lake is easy to access. Views are beautiful.

I stopped here on a trip up north and me and my buddy walked up to the top. It's a pretty easy walk up in my opinion. The views once you get there are great so I was taking a bunch of pictures. That's when the hilarity ensued. This family was there and one of the kids (about 5yo girl)... More

Went during winter time. Only went to the tower. But seeing everything I will definetly come back during spring or summer. Its nice. It was a good view going to the top of the tower and seeing everything. Since it was winter we had to park at the bottom and walk up. Was slippery in some spots.

Wonderful views from the tower. The climb can be tough for those not in good physical condition, but you still have great views without climbing the tower. There are trails you can hike around the tower, as well.

This nicely landscaped park is especially beautiful in spring & summer, and Enger Tower is the perfect spot to enjoy expansive views of Duluth Harbor & Lake Superior.

This park is absolutely beautiful. A bear was in the area when we were there too. The pictures don't do any justice it's a must see park. It would great place to have a wedding.

What a beautiful place to be with your family, friends and lover. There's a gazebo on the top of the hill were weddings are held and it's simply breathtaking. There are also places to grill, picnics and enjoy a adventurous hike. Great place to photograph.

I don't think it is officially open in the winter but there were a lot of people there walking around. It is not shoveled so prepare to walk through the snow. It has beautiful views of the lake and the lift bridge. In the warmer weather I could imagine taking a picnic here.
