History comes alive on the Lakefront line of the North Shore Scenic Railroad! During our summer season several trains a day depart the historic Duluth Union Depot for a trip through downtown Duluth, Canal Park, along the shore of Lake Superior and deep into the majestic north woods. Fully narrated tours tell the history of Duluth, the harbor, and the stories of the railroads that built northern Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Very nice evening to do the Christmas City Express. Train runs from Fitgers and goes to the Depot and back. It took about 90 minutes which was just long enough to do with a toddler. I would suggest buying tickets ahead of time and pick...More

It was fun. And worth it! Parked at Fitger's and did a little shopping before we left on the train for Bentleyville. My granddaughter and daughter and a great time as well. The lights were once again beautiful. Weather was good too!

Enjoyed a relaxing train ride; nostalgic and fun! We were a three-generation family on the train, and we all had so much fun! Even a bonus - we were given a chance to pick a pumpkin from the Pumpkin Patch. What a great idea! This...More

I doubt it and didn't see any dogs. The staff and volunteers at the Railroad are very approachable and would be able to answer your question by e-mail or phone
