This is a place to visit in the summer. Thousands of beautiful rose bushes of all kinds fill this amazing park. It's right on Lake Superior and next to the Lakewalk, so if you want to trek on east or west you can. There are also restrooms there.

The park is absolutely wonderful! It is a nice escape from the city. Being right off the lake walk, it is convenient to sit around or mosy about the park for a bit. There is a lot of history in the park and area (and also basically all of Duluth) so if you see a plaque, I suggest reading it... More

Took my wife here when visiting Duluth. Great garden, view of the Lift bridge and right in the city of Duluth. Not far from Fitzgers.

The lake walk connects to this and you can get to it very easily or if you begin at the rose garden you can get to the lake walk very easily and down to canal park or to the Portland Malt shoppe.

I have only visited in the summer or Fall, before first frost, so I have only seen this park at it's peak. It is very pretty, with amazing views of the Lake. Clean restrooms. Wedding party pictures being taken. Children in strollers, delightful breezes. Nice park.

Even in September, when the weather was cooler and breezy, the gardens were mostly in full bloom, and the sunny day provided spectacular views of the lake and surrounding area. Not terribly busy, able to walk freely and enjoy the experience. I think it's a favorite of tourists and locals alike.
