The entire family loved seeing the wolves at the Wolf Center. Was a little disappointed with the cost. Little over-priced for what you actually can see and do.

Nice museum. A lot of interesting information about wolves as well as a pack of wolves in a natural habitat type enclosure on the property.

We had a blast watching the wolves play in the water while they waited for dinner. Dinner was a deer! Fascinating watching them eat.

Wow, my kids said, as we were able to see and watch wolfs in there natural surroundings, my younger one thought they looked like our neighbors dog, but really interesting to watch

Hi Karen, I'm sorry you were not able to visit. Our daily summer hours began May 15th. During the off-peak season we are open Friday's, Saturday's and Sundays. Staff was/is very knowledgeable about the wolves, very well educated. Loved that we were able to see all five wolves and then shown the two in "retirement"

Go at night and watch them being fed. I think they are only fed on a Saturday evening. They let you stay and observe the feeding which is proceeded by an interesting lecture. Kids can touch bones and skin and things. There... More

I will fly from Baltimore with my 11 year old grandson, into Duluth. How would I get from the airport to Ely? and how do we get around without renting a car?

Hi jeanleaman, You will need to rent a car in Duluth and drive to Ely. As others have mentioned it is a two hour drive. We recommend using Google Maps to plan out your route. MN-1 W is a beautiful route to Ely that many... More
