Just got to drive a backhoe this past weekend and had a blast!!! Matt and the staff at Extreme Sandbox were very friendly, funny, and took their time in instructing us in the ways of the machine!!! Then they had us do a number of fun challenges ranging from knocking tennis balls off cones - with out knocking the cones... More

Instructors made the event safe and FUN!!! We'll be talking about the fun we had for a long time. Spray painting and demolishing a mini van was oddly therapeutic!

My father was a meat cutter by trade, who owned a slaughterhouse and packing plant, but over the years I heard him say many times that he might have liked to have been a heavy equipment operator. For Christmas we bought him a gift certificate to Extreme Sandbox and brought him out to run an excavator. After a brief training... More

I bought this experience for my husband's 60th birthday and he was thrilled, to say the least. He wanted to make it a family affair, so our 30-yr-old son and I joined in the fun. For starters, the staff were so patient during our lengthy phone calls, assisting us with which package to purchase. On arrival, the facility was nice... More

This Instructors and owner are great! My instructors Jason and Adam were very patient and helpful with tips and suggestions and you really feel they are trying to... More

I purchased a package for a Christmas present to share with my sons-in-law. The staff on the phone gave me good info and helped me choose a the right combo. Aside from having fun equipment, the facility is well-designed and organized. Our instructors, Adam and Jason, did great jobs, and the time flew by. Adam did a fantastic job on... More

I received the feeding frenzy package as a gift from my mom for my birthday. When we got to the sandbox we added my girlfriend to the excavator experience. Once I started digging I like like I was a kid again playing with Tonka toys in the back yard. The ability to drive three different machines in the same day... More

Took the entire family so ended up doing a mini group. It feels expensive until you think that you're using four pieces of heavy equipment, plus two dedicated guides for a couple hours. Try to rent a Bobcat or a lift at a big-box store and you'll realize it is probably pretty reasonable. The guys doing the training and guiding... More

I got this for me and my husband's first wedding anniversary. We had a BLAST!!!! Matt our instructor was great too. I know it seems expensive but it is well worth it, you can never do something like this anywhere else. I mean we picked up and moved a car. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!
