World class scenery and terrain. The ancient Sawtooth Mountains rise 1000 feet above the coast of Lake Superior-topography unlike any other Midwest locale. And that brings more of what you want in a ski trip. More runs. More elevation. More epic days. You'll find the very best Mid-America has to offer-the highest mountains, the most snow, and the breathtaking beauty of the North Shore. Lutsen offers 95 sweeping runs over four mountains with a lift-serviced vertical rise more than double that of other regional resorts.

Best powder skiing in 8 consecutive years at Lutsen. Got into several great tree runs and enjoyed the rest of the mountain like always.

This ski/summer resort area is in the Sawtooth Mountians along the North Shore of Lake Superior, and faces/overlooks the Lake, with some mind blowing views.

Saw the mountains in the Fall with the changing of the colors. Simply spectacular with the mountains covered in reds, yellows and golds.

Took the Gondola ride up the mountain. Gondolas were very clean. Pricey for a 20 minute round trip ride. Luckily it provided an excellent view of the fall foliage. There was a nice chateau restaurant at the top but we decided to get something to...More

My wife and I decided to travel up to Lutsen for a quick getaway vs. going out to CO. It was a great decision and the slopes were pretty nice. Lutsen Mountain had enough runs open for all skill levels and the scenery was spectacular....More

We came here to do the alpine slide and also rode the gondola. It seems a little pricey, but oh well - we did the full adventure passes for unlimited slide rides and gondola. We're older adults with no kids and honestly went down that...More

I was blown away by the skiing at Lutsen Mountain! I live in Southeastern WI and was very hesitant to make the 8 hour drive to Lutsen, I mean you could fly and drive to a location out West in that same amount of time....More
