The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden is closed for renovation, and will reopen in June 2017. One of the crown jewels of the city’s park system, the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden unites two of Minnesota’s most cherished resources—its greenspace and its cultural life. A partnership with the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board, the Garden is a top destination for tourists to enjoy art like the iconic Spoonbridge and Cherry in an outdoor park setting.

Went to the sculpture garden with my son who just moved to Minneapolice. Nice park. Interesting sculptures. Great photo ops with the city in the background. Not digging the "natural" landscaping though. I thought it made the park look a little unkept.

This was one of the activities I had on my list when we visited Minneapolis. The sculptures all have a name and you can read a little their history. There is a pavilion area which is nice for picnics. There were a family of geese...More

1st time visiting. Definitely a must see if you are in the area. Just go when the weather is warm! Plus, as an added bonus, we got to see a wedding gown designer and his creations in a photo shoot while we visited.

A nice open area garden, recently updated. May need more mature greenery to provide some shade in the summer. Handicapped accessible. Food nearby in Walker Art Museum and restrooms there. Favorite is the Cherry on the spoon.

Our family had a great time walking through the park & viewing the sculptures and artistic works. The architecture of the buildings all around the park where incredible to look at as well. We had a great time!

Impressive and very diverse sculpture garden. When we were there one of the temporary exhibits was an artist designed miniature golf course. It was a clever and entertaining way to engage people of all ages. My personal favorites were the massive spoon with cherry, the...More

Yes it's free and you just walk around at your own pace. We got there early and found street parking very close. If it's busy I am not sure where to park.
