A very modern building with several different sized exhibition halls. Can host many types of events. We have been there often.

I enjoy going to the Mpls CC for events. Its a nice building compared to other cities but its very big so its time consuming to find what you are looking for.

I attended a 4 day conference and I am impressed by the modern and spacious interior. I am also impressed by the availability of washrooms, the speed of the wifi, and the connectivity via the Skyway. However, I am disappointed by the few dining options. There is only a bar (Craft Bar & Lounge) and a coffee shop (Dunn Bro... More

Large, and certainly able to handle volume. Was here for a three day conference. Kind of feels like it is in the middle of nowhere and not too many places to go once you are out of the convention Centre. A little confusing to find your way around once inside. Nothing really inspirational here. But functional.

My wife and I traveled from across the country to attend a convention. It was our first journey to Minneapolis, Minnesota. We travelled easily by commuter train from the airport to the downtown area. Although it was cool in March, the city has organized the region into indoor Skyways that lead to the Convention Center. This is a wonderful venue... More

The Minneapolis Convention Center is large, new and very nice. One gripe: convention centers should be designed for visitors - very few people actually know where they are going. So clear, effective signage is SUPER important. They have signs everywhere with arrows indicating the various halls and rooms and auditoriums. But the arrows are difficult to read. Someone decided to... More

Lots of character. Well arranged, not just a big open one room facility like to many others. Connects to the Sky Way.

My husband and I attend several events a year at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The convention center itself is a good venue. During the Minnesota winter, these indoor events make for a nice evening out! Especially to an inside facility, on the Skyway system where you can enjoy travel shows, car shows, motorcycle shows, garden shows, etc.! Consistently over the... More

Our company participated in a convention here, and it was the first time I've ever been. Very nice facility - modern, open, easy to get around, lots of food options. My favorite part is that we could drive our van all the way into the convention center to unload. No worries about temperature or the elements.

The Minneapolis Convention Center should be ashamed of the food being served at their concession stands. It is just plain bad. And, because the company running them has a monopoly, there is absolutely no incentive for them to improve their product. If I order a cheesburger, I expect a hot burger with melted cheese on it. I do not expect... More
