Excellent park for hiking and exploring with yourself or family. Lots to see and do. It gets pretty crowded in the summer and there are always weddings and engagements being photographed. There is a splash pad and disc golf course (fee) which is one of...More

The park is beautiful in this frozen tundra! I was in MN last week (super cold) but didn't want to miss the local attractions. We had a little trouble figuring out where to park to just see the frozen waterfall. (Park by the closed down...More

I grew up within a block of the Falls, but remember walking the 1.2 miles as a youngster, to cross the creek on the rocks ( no longer allowed, for safety ) to stand by the statue. Delicious fare at the cafe in the warmer...More

The falls are truly spectacular below 0. Such a wonderful view in the full sunshine. The entire park is well maintained and easy to walk around in the winter. A winter wonderland.

Stopped by to look around a little and see the falls in winter. Very beautiful with water coming over and freezing and ice at the bottom. Very nice indeed.

The park's main attraction is the upper waterfall. That area of the park is popular year-round. (Don't go off-trail in winter. It's illegal and the icy falls & pool are dangerous.) By all means start there, but don't leave the park without hiking the trail...More

Great park with a nice seafood restaurant and outdoor patio (restaurant is open Apr-Oct). The creek goes over the falls which is easily viewable without having to go down the stairs or exerting any energy. If you're up for a walk or short hike there...More

Sea Salt Eatery has fantastic food, and a good variety of beer and wine. Convenient parking. Just an all-around wonderful place to enjoy the outdoors, in...More
