I come in minnehaha all the time to walk my dog and I love it! The path down to the river is very nice with generally less people and nice views. The falls are beautiful of course, but may be crowded during summer time

We visited a the city was beginning to thaw after a long winter. Everything was snow and ice which just added to the beauty of the area. The falls were flowing well and the river was a sight!

We enjoyed our time at the park. It was very family friendly. A lot of picnic space. The scenery in the park is well worth the walk and all the stairs. We rented a family pedal car. The terrains is definitely a guaranteed workout. It...More

Loved how easy it was to just make a quick stop to see the waterfalls off the metro route. The fall leaves were gorgeous

Minnehaha Park is an excellent biking destination as well as a good walking, hiking, bicycling area. There are numerous pedal rentals and before you leave, grab some food at the Sea salt Eatery - it's the BEST!!

In the winter you will find the falls have turned to ice, yellow toned hues from the river and bluish ice from ground water that percolates out from both sides. It’s illegal and a tad dangerous to go down to the falls in winter, but...More

Excellent park for hiking and exploring with yourself or family. Lots to see and do. It gets pretty crowded in the summer and there are always weddings and engagements being photographed. There is a splash pad and disc golf course (fee) which is one of...More

Visitors are not allowed to walk behind/directly under the falls, but you can descend a bunch of steps to get to a path to view the waterfall from below. The path continues along the water below the falls if you’d like a... More
