I know every major city has one but I think these beautiful old churches are still worth exploring. The Basilica of Mary stands as a gateway to downtown Minneapolis just off Highway 94. The interior is not elaborate or ostentatious but classically beautiful. The larger...More

Went here with my sister who is Catholic during a vacation. We often go to churches for site seeing. This was the best one I've ever seen. Beautiful. Worth the trip.

Very beautiful, ornate and great place to worship a Catholic mass. Lots of visitors from out of town but there's ample parking in a lot next to the church.

It was a 2 for 1. Get to see a beautiful basilica and celebrate mass. What a gift! The people are so welcoming and nice. The architecture and stained glass is a true site to see.

This church is worth a visit. It has a real European flavor to it. It is walking distance from downtown and across from MN State and Technical College.

A must go for every Catholic and friendly for other visitors as well. It is a place of great beauty with an incredible liturgical experience. There are tours offered after some Masses and secret passages, too!
