This review is being completed after much rain in the area. We planned an 18 hole round but got 1.5 inches of rain the night before we golfed therefore no carts were allowed. Minneapolis overcrowds there courses. Hiawatha is a beautiful spot right in the city but foursomes are forced to play very tightly. We were teeing off and lightening hit and all the Minneapolis residents were refunded but they refused to refund me (St. Paul resident). Not sure what that was about but the customer service was garbage.

Granted my review is based on a dry summer. Regardless, the course was in poor shape. Even more concerning was that many of the greens were in poor condition

I enjoyed a few games of golf on this course, but my main memory is being a part of Tiger Woods appearance and exhibition he put on for two days as part of an appearance to encourage kids to golf. This Minneapolis course is easy to play but very slow most times. Close to lakes and easy to get to make it attractive, but the course needs work. Very bumpy terrain, some greens that are chewed up. Beverage cart is not quick or timely. No ranger moving groups along. The clubhouse is nice but small and dated. They charge same... More
