We stopped by on a weekday afternoon. The park is really beautiful. It's a lovely, peaceful setting. We took some great photos. One thing that was odd, though, was several teens nearby but not together. They had hammocks set up. We didn't check it out!

I have been going to the Rose Garden for years with my daughter. We look forward to this every summer. It is located next to Lake Harriett. Just simply beautiful :) Highly recommend in the summer.

There are more than roses in this nice botanical garden. It makes for a perfect stop if you are at Lake Harriet (on the east side) or biking along the trails. Besides the roses, of which there are many fragrant varieties, there are annuals and...More

We were here in April and in September. Even when most of the roses are gone the colors are fabulous. A walk in the evening is full of beauty and so relaxing.

This park is divided into several sections & is very attractive. The roses were lovely, but the other side of road appealed more to me with large trees, lawns & flower borders.

Rose garden is not large, but well maintained, connected to a beautiful park and a magnificent flower garden. It leads to one of Minneapolis' beautiful lakes, Lake Harriet. Wonderful walk for local residents like me! Two unique water fountains adorn the park and garden.

There is no cost for entering the park but there is for parking. I would say around three dollars would give you enough time though there is a lot to see beyond the rose gardens.
