Went on a Sunday at 11. Would recommend reservations. We were seated about 10 minutes after our reservation time. Staff very friendly but the servier immediately went over a list of things "they were out of" including bacon. We did order things with bacon and they did come with bacon though! Food was excellent and large portions

Had reservations at 6:30 for seven. It was early so there was lots of room, but it filled up quickly. The steaks were good and done as requested. Service seemed slow especially to get drinks. Large variety of craft brews. The house wine was ok.

The food was very good! I just wish the waitstaff put more effort and personality into their service. We had to search for ours a couple of different times (and the place was far from packed). They seemed minimally interested in taking good care of us. I doubt we'll ever return.

My wife and I stop here when we get to Minneapolis and enjoy Happy Hour, food is always unique and delicious! If you like out of the ordinary dining experience this is the place to be.

Our family of four enjoyed a great brunch on Mother's Day at the Red Stag. The service was excellent -- none of the "hipster/patronizing" vibe that permeates some of the Mpls restaurants. The Eggs Benedict was the best version of the dish I have ever had -- the homemade biscuits and hollandaise sause were fantasic. The mamosa's weren't too shaby,... More

I visited Red Stag on a Saturday evening with my friend to celebrate a special occasion. We had a very good experience from start to finish! The menu is a modern take on classic supper club fare with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and innovative preparations. We started with a cheese plate which consisted of a delicious assortment of Minnesota and... More

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal of cheese curds, Sea bass and pork chops to celebrate my birthday. We topped it off with a wonderful carrot cake. The food was all wonderful and we are looking forward to enjoying the changing menu selections. GREAT drink and beer choices too.

One of our least favorite restaurants in the Twin Cities. Over priced, bad service...mediocre food. Please don't bother going. There are lots of other good options.

Horrible waitress, snotty and inefficient really lowered the experience. Atmosphere was fun and food mixed. Portions skimpy and the parking is really challenging. Really wanted to enjoy this and the waitress really wrecked it all. The other staff (busboys etc) were fine. Will not return, way too much hype for what you get. Also given the short season for great... More
