The design of this gorgeous, amazing bank is called a jewel box. While the outside is fabulous, the inside is the real treasure! Amazing and unbelievable. Highly recommend a stop at this historic building. The employees are used to and welcome gawkers.

What a beautiful preserved piece of history. The outside of the building is unique. But when you step inside, it is a definite WOW factor. Buildings like these are rare. One piece of history that was not ripped down. The people working inside are proud...More

We toured this last year while visiting friends. It really is a must see and not at all what you might expect in this small town. It is still in use as a bank but they kindly let you walk, go upstairs and view the...More

the inside is like you were in the 1930s. there is a farm mural on the wall that is breath taking. and you can walk up stairs to a balcony that overlooks the banking area. The bank is full of terracotta type detail.

Walk into this bank and we were blown away. The design was out of this world. Planning on seeing more "Jewel Box" banks in the near future.

You can go look at it, but make sure you know that this a working bank. Usually people there are doing bank business so they may wonder what you are doing and ask if you are just looking around.

This incredible "jewel box" bank built in 1906 in this small dairy town will blow your mind. While the exterior is interesting, you HAVE to go inside!!! It is only a few miles off Interstate 35. Don't forget, if they don't remind you, to go...More

This bank is an amazing piece of architecture and deserves to be included in any trip to the area. Be sure to go up to the balcony to see the chandlers up close.
