We spent three nights and four days at this campground/resort. Camping spaces were enormous and the whole campground was clean and nice. Owners were very accommodating. Bike trail goes right next to the campgrounds and some of my family biked into Lanesboro in less than 45 minutes for a lovely lunch in town.mspent another day tubing on the Root River... More

We played the course and found it scenic however the layout was atypical, the condition of the course was below average and the cost was not commensurate with the value. Tee boxes were ok on some holes and poor on others. Some fairways were not mowed and the greens were small and extremely slow. Some greens were not shaped well... More

This is a very scenic course with a confusing lay out. This course is not set up for the average female golfer. One par 3 is 200 yards long, another is 180. Several of the par 4's do not have separate tee boxes for women, making for very long holes for the average female golfer. Yardages to hazards were not... More

The campground is set up with three tiers. The restroom and showers are only available on the lower tier making for a lot of walking up and down hills. The barn and pool are at the very top which is a hike. Our site on the middle tier was very narrow. I would upgrade to a sewer site. Those are... More

Its been 15 years since I went here with my family and we just went back this past weekend. The prices had more than doubled in that time, however, the sites got smaller and more packed in and the showers and bathrooms were the same as I remembered from 15-20 years ago. I asked well in advance to have the... More

Make time to go early and experience Lanesboro before heading tothe Old Barn resort for a unforgettable meal. Prime rib is always wonderful!

It has been awhile since our last visit, but whenever we went here, it was a good time for parent and kids with plenty to do and room to roam. Easy access and exit and just a safe, family orientated campground.

For almost $50 per night for a site, I would spend my money elsewhere. Bathrooms were in terrible condition -- hairballs, overflowing shower drains into the shower stalls, no soap for washing hands -- gross! Site was not mowed, so our feet were soaked everyday from the long wet grass. Difficult to conveniently access the bathrooms from our site. I... More
