This is a beautiful place to visit in the spring and summer when the gardens are in bloom. It is a beautiful place to go visit, even for locals! I love to take my kids there for pictures, or even to just walk the grounds and look at all of the beautiful flowers and brick and stone structures!
They have an amazing botanical garden hidden in a lower level of the mansion. There was a wedding setting up Saturday so we didnt stay long but it was beautiful to walk through. Great views and they have tours of the House itself.
Went to an antique sale at the house for a local charity. Wide variety of items made for a fun shopping experience. The event was held in the house so had plenty of opportunity to explore inside the house and also walk the grounds. A lovely place to visit.
There was a children party there but we could admire the house from outside and enjoy the quietness of the garden which is some steps down the hill. I recomend spending some time in the garden especially that there are few visitor around....
